Bunker Hill Community College, BHCC, is a multi-campus urban institution. It was founded in 1973 by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. BHCC has two campuses. The main campus is located in the historic Charlestown neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts and the second campus is in nearby Chelsea, Massachusetts. BHCC has five satellites located in the local communities of Cambridge, East Boston, Revere, Somerville and Boston’s South End.

BHCC enrolls more than 8,900 students from over 90 countries in various full-time, web-based and distance learning programs. It offers more than 65 associate degree and certificate programs. These programs train the students for successful employment and transfer to four-year universities.

BHCC is internationally recognized for the development of individualized and alternative methods of instruction. It is a leader in distance learning technologies.
